E-testing and remote supervision for a medical university
We built online proctoring systems for web-based assessment of student knowledge, in partnership with one of the leading European universities.
When COVID-19 moved universities to distance learning and exams went online with them, the goal was to make remote knowledge assessment easy, simple and reliable for everyone involved. We designed a transparent, user-friendly e-testing platform using video streaming and screen recording.
When testing is done online, one wonders whether the student took it honestly and whether the score is fair. With a live webcam and screen sharing the proctor sees the student's face and hands, while desktop capture reveals which tabs are open. All records are kept, so results can be appealed and reviewed.
